The Story Behind Scarlet & Grace
Scarlet & Grace began in 2016 during a family holiday on the South Coast of New South Wales, when the Clancy family noticed the lack of safe, natural home fragrance products. Inspired by this, they set out to create a range of personal care items made from 100% Australian ingredients. After two years of development and sourcing pure, natural materials, they launched their first products—candles and diffusers—just in time for Christmas 2018. The positive customer feedback validated their vision, and the brand quickly expanded its product range. Now, with a manufacturing centre in Sale and retail partners across Australia, New Zealand, and the UK, Scarlet & Grace continues to offer high-quality, natural products that embody their commitment to purity and sensory delight.
Scarlett O'Hara & Grace Kelly
The inspiration for the brand’s name came from two iconic women—Scarlett O'Hara and Grace Kelly. Scarlett O'Hara, the bold, vibrant, and daring character from Gone with the Wind, was known for her strong presence and unforgettable red lipstick. On the other hand, Grace Kelly embodied elegance, grace, and kindness, leaving an indelible mark on the world.
Scarlet & Grace believes that, much like these two women, everyone has two sides. There are moments when we feel fierce and unstoppable, like Scarlett, and other times when we feel calm, cool, and composed, like Grace. The brand's mission is to create fragrances that nurture both these aspects—ensuring that, no matter your mood, there's a perfect scent to match.
